Copyright and Content Use Policy

© 2026 Webiano Digital & Marketing Agency. All rights reserved.

All original articles, analyses, research, graphics and other editorial materials published on Webiano.digital and its official local Webiano domains are protected by copyright. Unless stated otherwise, all rights are reserved by Webiano Digital & Marketing Agency, its licensors and/or the relevant authors.

Materials identified as belonging to third parties remain subject to the rights of their respective owners.

We welcome editorial references, citations and links to our content.

Any quotation, excerpt or other reuse of any part of our content, including short excerpts, must clearly identify the relevant Webiano website as the source and, where stated on the original publication, name the author. It must also include both:

• a link to https://webiano.digital
• a direct link to the original article

For online use, both links must be active and directly accessible.

Where our content is quoted or used in a video, podcast, livestream or other audiovisual or audio format, both links must be included in the video description, podcast show notes or other directly associated online publication page.

Where reasonably possible, the relevant Webiano website and the author, where stated on the original publication, should also be credited verbally or visually within the content itself.

For print, broadcast or other offline use, the source must be clearly identified and the full URLs must be stated where technically or editorially possible.

You may quote brief excerpts from our content or share links to it for editorial, educational, commentary or reference purposes without prior written permission, provided that these attribution and linking requirements are met.

These attribution and linking requirements also apply where our content is quoted, reproduced or materially relied upon in AI-generated, AI-assisted or automated content, including content generated by large language models (LLMs), summaries, answers, newsletters, search results and other publications, where attribution and links can reasonably be provided by the person or service controlling the output.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, translate, adapt, distribute or otherwise use an article in full or in substantial part without our prior written permission. For clarity, reproducing more than 50% of an article will always be considered a substantial part.

This applies to all formats and channels, including websites, blogs, newsletters, social media, databases, print publications and automated or AI-generated content services.

Author names, source references, copyright notices and links to the original publication must not be removed or obscured.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Webiano expressly reserves its rights against text and data mining of content made available on Webiano.digital and its official local Webiano domains, including use for the training, development or improvement of large language models (LLMs), generative AI models and other artificial intelligence systems, unless expressly authorised in writing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I quote content from Webiano?

Yes. You may quote brief excerpts for editorial, educational, commentary, research or reference purposes without asking for permission first.

Do I need to link to Webiano even when I use only one sentence?

Yes. Any quotation, excerpt or reuse of any part of our content, including a short sentence, requires clear attribution and the required links.

Which links do I need to include?

You must include both: a link to https://webiano.digital + a direct link to the original article you used

How should I credit Webiano correctly?

Clearly identify the relevant Webiano website as the source. Where an author is named on the original article, you must also name the author. A suitable format is: Source: [Article Title] by [Author], Webiano.digital [Link to Webiano.digital] + [Direct link to the original article]

Do both links need to be active?

Yes. For online use, both links must be active, clickable and directly accessible.

Can I copy one paragraph from an article?

Only where it is genuinely a brief excerpt, necessary for your purpose and used with the required source attribution and both links.

Can I freely copy up to 50% of an article?

No. Less than 50% is not automatically permitted. Any reuse must remain brief, reasonable and properly attributed. Reproducing more than 50% of an article will always require prior written permission.

Can I republish a full Webiano article?

No. Republishing an article in full requires prior written permission.

Does linking to the article allow me to copy its text?

No. A link alone does not give permission to copy the article or substantial parts of it. It only allows you to share the link.

Can I translate a Webiano article?

No. Translation is an adaptation of the original content and requires prior written permission.

Can I rewrite a Webiano article in my own words?

You may discuss the same topic, facts or ideas. However, you may not closely copy, imitate or reproduce the original wording, structure, analysis or substantial content without permission.

Can I use facts or publicly available information mentioned in a Webiano article?

Facts and general ideas may be discussed. However, Webiano’s original wording, analysis, structure, graphics and editorial presentation may not be copied without following these rules or obtaining permission.

Can I use Webiano content in a newsletter or on social media?

You may share links and quote brief excerpts if you clearly identify the source and include both required links. If a platform does not allow both links, share only the direct link to the original article and do not reproduce an excerpt without permission.

Can I use Webiano images, graphics, charts or screenshots?

No, unless you have prior written permission or the material is explicitly marked as available for reuse. This also applies to screenshots of articles, graphics, charts, illustrations and other visual materials.

Can I use Webiano content in a YouTube video, podcast or livestream?

Yes, for brief excerpts only. Both required links must be included in the video description, podcast show notes or another directly associated online page. Where reasonably possible, the relevant Webiano website and the named author should also be credited verbally or visually in the content itself.

Can I use Webiano content in print, radio or television?

Brief quotations may be used where permitted, but the source must be clearly identified. Full URLs must be stated where technically or editorially possible.

Does this policy apply to AI-generated or AI-assisted content?

Yes. The same attribution and linking requirements apply where Webiano content is quoted, reproduced or materially relied upon in AI-generated, AI-assisted or automated content.

Does this include ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok and other LLMs?

Yes. Where Webiano content is used in content generated by large language models or other AI systems, the person or service controlling the published output must provide attribution and links where reasonably possible.

Can Webiano content be used to train AI models?

No, unless Webiano has expressly authorised it in writing. Webiano reserves its rights against text and data mining, including use for training, developing or improving LLMs, generative AI models and other AI systems.
