Local continuity makes a web-first platform more usable across uneven connectivity conditions. Canva explicitly framed Offline around people in classrooms, on commutes and in regions where data is expensive or connections are inconsistent. That framing is company messaging, but the underlying constraint is real: a productivity platform is less universal when basic editing disappears with the network.
